Grades K–5 · In person · Small groups

Elementary math your child will beg to come back to

Weekly small-group math classes for homeschooled kids in grades K–5 — number sense, fractions, and fact fluency built through games and hands-on activities, not worksheets and tears.

What we cover

A complete K–5 math foundation

Each student works from a personalized curriculum that meets them exactly where they are — whether they’re counting to 20 or ready for long division.

🔢

Number sense & place value

Building the deep “why” behind numbers so later math never feels like memorizing tricks.

➕

Addition & subtraction fluency

Mental-math strategies and fact fluency practiced through games kids actually ask to play.

✖️

Multiplication & division

From skip-counting and arrays to confident long division, one concrete step at a time.

🍱

Fractions that make sense

Hands-on fraction work with visual models — the concept most kids fear becomes a favorite.

📏

Measurement & shapes

Shapes, area, perimeter, time, and money grounded in real objects and real life.

🧩

Problem-solving habits

Word problems, estimation, and logic puzzles that build flexible mathematical thinking.

How it works

One 2-hour session a week. A full week of momentum.

Class time mixes direct teaching with math games, manipulatives, and partner challenges. Your child leaves each session with take-home enrichment matched to what they practiced, so the learning keeps rolling between classes without you having to plan a thing.

$270 / month · Step Up for Students & PEP scholarships accepted

No enrollment contract — and most Florida homeschool families cover tuition entirely with PEP scholarship funds.

We build a personalized curriculum for each student rather than marching through one boxed program. It draws on proven K–5 approaches and is adjusted week to week based on how your child is progressing.

Co-op classes are usually parent-led and one-size-fits-all. Math Mavericks classes are taught by a Florida-certified math teacher with a Master’s in Teaching and Learning, in groups small enough for real individual attention.
