About the Program
Math Mavericks LLC provides a small group learning environment for students in the homeschool community. Students are grouped by grade level and learning styles as much as possible. With the groups containing no more than 6 students, the curriculum and lessons are personalized to bring out the best in every child. Currently, we provide services for grades K-8 as well as Algebra 1.

We are a Step Up for Students direct-pay provider!
Each grade level group will be taught the full set of Florida math standards that aligns with their current grade. The curriculum will be provided by the teacher and will pull from multiple sources, including some self-created materials. By having the flexibility to pull from multiple sources, we can plan and adjust the materials used throughout the year to be best suited for the students enrolled in each group. While there may be some small quizzes assigned throughout, there will be no full sized tests given in class. With such small class sizes, the teacher is able to assess student learning and understanding mainly through observation and interacting with the students as they work through tasks and projects. If parents wish to assess students at home with traditional tests, the teacher can provide tests that would accurately assess the level of understanding for each unit that is covered.
